March 2024 – St. John Passion

We are excited to share our plans with you as we continue our 7th season as a non-profit organization! In recognition of the 300th anniversary of the first performance of Bach’s St. John Passion, we will be sharing two performances of this fabulous work:

Join us in worship Sunday, March 24th, at 3:00 PM on the campus of Concordia Seminary or Tuesday, March 26th, at 7:30 PM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Des Peres.

The Kantorei, under the directorship of Dr. Maurice Boyer, specializes in the performance of Johann Sebastian Bach’s sacred choral works in the original German, accompanied by orchestra.

The event is complimentary, with a freewill offering, and is open to the public.”

Bach paired with Schlafly brews and help us raise funds for our 2019-2020 season. Thanks to our volunteers and patrons that made this fundraiser a success!

Coffee with Bach — The American Kantorei soloists and instrumentalists perform J.S. Bach’s secular Coffee Cantata BWV 211. Purchase coffee and desserts to enjoy while you listen and help us raise funds to support our 2019-2020 season. Thanks to our generous donors and volunteers who made this fundraiser possible.
